The top three causes of death on Everest are avalanches, falls, and mountain sickness. Avalanches are the most common cause of death, followed by falls and then mountain sickness. Mountain sickness can be caused by a number of factors, including exhaustion, dehydration, and altitude sickness. Most deaths on Everest occur during the descent, when climbers are tired and their concentration is reduced.<\/p>\n

Our team is excited to be able to sleep at Everest Base Camp, especially since it is usually only allowed for teams with expedition permits. Sleeping at Everest Base Camp will be an incredible experience and we feel very lucky to be able to do it. We are looking forward to an unforgettable adventure.<\/p>\n
