There is no one definitive answer to this question as it largely depends on the definition of “tourist.” For the purposes of this discussion, a tourist is defined as anyone who visits Mount Everest for the purpose of sightseeing, regardless of whether they attempt to summit the mountain or not. With that in mind, it is estimated that between 10,000 and 30,000 people visit Mount Everest each year.<\/p>\n
