Can I enter Glacier before 6am?
If you want to enter the park before 6 AM or 3 PM, you must make a reservation in advance. Reservations are only required during these peak hours. In 2023, nightly construction at the West Glacier Entrance will restrict entry to the park before 6 AM. To enter before 6 AM, you must enter from the east side of the park at St Mary.
The Zermatt-Furi gondola is the first step in getting to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise complex. The gondola is located on the far south side of the village of Zermatt and takes you up to the station at Furi. From there, you can either take the cable car up to the complex, or hike up the trail.
